Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between structures (your joints, spine, ligaments and muscles) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. Chiropractic restores and maintains health through lifestyle counseling, spinal and extremity adjustment and prescription of exercises. Joint adjustment can restore normal movement, relieve pain and stimulate higher function of the brain and the nervous system.

At CBHC, we use a wide variety of chiropractic techniques and procedures, including physical therapy modalities, to assist all type of patients from children, pregnant women, athletes and elderly.

What makes your chiropractic care at CBHC unique?

At CBHC, your chiropractic care is more than just a chiropractic adjustment.

We emphasize the importance of pre-adjustment warm up and post-adjustment care. Pre-adjustment warm ups may include using modalities(such as ultrasound or heat therapy) or exercises to warm up the soft tissues (muscles and ligaments). This prepares the joints for adjustment. Post adjustment care may include stretching, strengthening or balancing (proprioceptive) exercises. This improves the effectiveness of the adjustment.

Treatments we offer

  • Pettibon Posture Program: Pettibon is a comprehensive posture rehabilitation program for the spine's hard and soft tissues (bone, ligaments and muscles). It begins with a detailed posture analysis. Treatment consists of postural spinal adjustment using a hand-held adjustment instrument or it can be done manually.  Home exercises and in-office exercises are prescribed based on your posture configuration.
  • Hand-held adjusting instrument and Activator: Not everyone is suited for a manual adjustment. Using a hand-held adjustment instrument allows for correction for those who are not a candidate for manual adjustment. In addition, it can also be safely used for young children and seniors.
  • Low Level Laser therapy: Low level laser therapy and phototherapy stimulate tissue repair through a process of bio-stimulation. It improves the function of vascular, immune systems and accelerate healing process
  • Spinal decompression: Today advances in spinal traction have brought promising results for patients with disc herniations and degenerative disc diseases. Non-surgical disc decompression is one such treatment, being advertised increasingly, that has brought initial relief for many, from debilitating back pain.
